COLOR POSTER
For the Color Poster I tried to make it as interactive as I possibly could. I made it so the primary, secondary, intermediate, and complementary colors were fastened with velcro onto the poster board. This will allow the students to be interactive and place the correct name with the location on the color wheel. I also have crayon books of the primary colors that will be used to play different games with the students dealing all with colors.
TEXTURE POSTER
The Texture Poster is all interactive. All the labels come off and allows for the children to participate. The pockets on the actual side each have a surprise for the children. This gives them not only a chance to show what they know about texture but it rewards them for understanding.
SHAPE-FORM POSTER
The Shape/Form Poster uses bright colors and items found in nature. I believe that the brighter and more vivid something is the more children will be attracted to it. With this poster the children will also have the opportunity to create their own 3-D item to take home.
SPACE/FORM POSTER
The Space Form Poster shows the children many aspects of space and form. With this poster the children will also have the chance to create both a positive space and a negative space item. This is a quick but easy task for the children to complete.
LINE POSTER
The Line Poster is pretty straight forward. I know that line is one of the fundamental principals of art and it is also one of the most important. I used as many pictures to describe the definitions as I could. I also used a picture by Vincent van Gogh's Starry Night to demonstrate the many different forms of line that an artist can use. When teaching this type of a lesson I would bring in a bigger picture of Starry Night so it will be easier to see and comprehend.
